Turns out I'm a boomer!

I didn't know I was a bit of a boomer until recently!

Let me explain myself when I say I discovered recently that I am a bit of a boomer. It all started when one of the teachers of this Master's Degree told us that we will be having our first exam in a couple of weeks. I mean, that is not a big deal, we've always been doing exams and I'm not concerned about it.

The point here is how I am going to prepare for this exam. During class, the teacher explains the concepts and the subject using very well organised Power Points, they're all easy to follow and full of colors that help you understand everything easier. So when I started studying I tried doing it on the computer and I just couldn't. I can't stare at a screen full of words and pretend that I'm focused and know what I'm doing, because that wouldn't be true.

So what did I do? I wrote everything in a Word document (because it feels better to study 5 word pages that 33 Power Point slides - at least for me). And now I really can say I can study, I just need the paper. Computers or other devices are good for studying if you are learning something practical, but when it comes to memorizing and making notes on every page I can't handle it.

I guess I'm not as youg as I would like to be anymore!
