Can you believe not a single student failed the first exam?

Last Monday we had the very first exam on our Masters' Degree. And guess what happened: everyone passed!!

It was one of the subjects related to psychology, and for me it is one of the most interesting, because it is no just about studying, but also about trying to understand yourself. The teacher always 'plays' with psychology, and instead of giving us extra points if we do the weekly activities, she says that we won't lose those points if we do them. I mean, it is exactly the same, you do them yo get your points, but the way she presents it, changes the whole perception.

That's why she kind of used a similar technique for this first exam. The subject is divided into seven different units, and for last Monday we had to study the first four units. The trick? The negative reinforcement? If you passed, you are clean, you only will have to study the three remaining units for December. Which is great because we'll be packed of exams and papers by that time.

So yes, incredibly everyone passed, and I could not be happier about it. Not only we passed, but we learnt, and that's the main objective when you are a teacher: that your students learn.
